Because of the fuel-efficient CV carburetor in the stock KLX, you can ride a long ways on 2.6 gallons of gas. Mine's been over 100 miles more than once. But there are times when you'd feel better with a larger tank. The Acerbis is easy to mount, and eliminates the need for shrouds.
